Within the state of Washington, whenever a user is searching for ridematch, the RSO-iCarpool platform now produces matches over 90% of the times. 

Here is the data at the WA state level as of May 2012.

On May 18th. 

Ridematch statistics Total Ridematch search performed 93439 Ridematch search with no result 11530 Ridematch requests sent 31740

 

On May 29th.

Ridematch statistics Total Ridematch search performed 94413 Ridematch search with no result 11627 Ridematch requests sent 32187

Purely in terms of the function of producing matches, perhaps producing matches over 90% of times is good news.

I've heard from some folks that their users aren't seeing matches. This might be one way to look that up. Individual agencies are be able to review what these numbers look like for their own network using the General Alternative Transportation Report. These numbers are based on all time - so it might be best to compare results obtained at 2 different times separated by a few days or weeks.
