New Update: Minimum Occupancy Criteria

The following update went live over the weekend. Feel free to test it out in the training environment and then add it to your selection of incentive options.

Minimum Occupancy Criteria
The RideshareOnline.com platform has a new feature for carpool incentives. This feature has 2 parts to it.

1. Administrators can optionally set a minimum carpool mode occupancy criteria for incentives that have carpool mode enabled. For example, an incentive may be set up with a minimum occupancy criteria of 3 to promote 3+ carpools. A minimum 2 person occupancy criteria will include all carpools as a carpool must have at least one more individual than the driver - thus there is no option to set a minimum occupancy criteria of 2. The minimum occupancy criteria may be set as any of {3, 4, 5, 6}.
   
   
2. The incentive workflows have now been updated to account for the set occupancy criteria. Corresponding carpool trips logged in the system that meet the minimum occupancy criteria will qualify for the incentive.

 

NOTE – The carpool mode occupancy criteria is only applicable for carpool mode. If the criteria is used in an incentive with modes such as vanpool and bus in addition to the carpool mode, the occupancy criteria is ignored for all other modes except the carpool mode.
