ADMIN

Long Trips Report - Support Team will continue to send out monthly. Purpose of the report is to clean up calendar logging errors that result in extremely long trips that skew data. Please review and remember to make changes within 28 days of the calendared trip. Past 28 days, trips cannot be altered.

Administrator List Update - Support team sent out list in January for regional and state administrators to review and make any adjustments to user rights to ensure only users who provide administrative support have administrator level access. Please remember to review and make updates to your network as appropriate.

STATEWIDE PROMOTIONAL EFFORTS
Washington - WheelOptions Campaign

Current: Rock Your Ride - Theme - Be a Rock Star & Commit to your Commute! Wheel Options Around the Sound – Rock Your Ride! This campaign theme is “Rock Your Ride,” meaning that participants will be broken down into three categories: Transit (Bus, Sounder, Link), Rideshare (Carpool, Vanpool) and any other non-motorized option (Walking, Biking, Compressed Work Week, Telecommute). The goal is for each participant to log their trips and become the top commuter in their respective category.

Recent: Days for Donations - February 2016 - 10K Pierce, Snohomish & King County commuters saved/shared and tracked almost 150,000 days to Go Green & Give Back during February’s Days for Donation commute contest. Three charities; Northwest Harvest, United Way of Pierce County and United Way of Snohomish County shared $25,000, and 15 winners, five from each county, got to donate $200 to their favorite 501c3.

Oregon

Portland Metro: May Bike Month

Hood River: Mt Hood Express to ski resorts

Commute Options: 25th Birthday & Open Street

Planning efforts are underway for Oregon to use the new challenge functionality for their fall promotion.

TEAMS & CHALLENGES UPDATE - Functionality as noted in attached powerpoint (below) will be implemented by end of September. Plan is to implement in stages. First stage will include updating the platform to support tablet and smart phones (likely late summer). Second stage will include challenge functionality.

3+ CARPOOL UPGRADE - New incentive functionality has been loaded into the test environment that allows administrators to configure 3, 4, 5, or 6 person carpools versus the current default of 2+ person carpools. Initial functionality was presented, Smart Rideshare is reviewing testing results and will provide a final date for launch. In the meantime, current functionality can be tested in the training site.
