Over the weekend, Smart Rideshare pushed out the update that enables API integration for the SmartRideshare platform along with some enhancements (in response to user and administrator feedback). Details are below:
1. Matchlist API Integration – The RSO Matchlist now includes external matches. The current integration is a public beta and with the iCarpool mobile app. This enables the Matchlist in RSO to include TripPool, FlexVanpool and Flexible Carpools.
2. Vanpool Start-ups And Terminations Report – The report has been updated so that : (a) the report lists the last driver of the vanpool when it was terminated and (b) the report lists the Legacy ID for vanpools that are terminated.
3. The Vanpool Seat Finder Widget and Community Trip Widget have been updated to be responsive so they can be better viewed from smaller screens such as mobile phones. The widgets also have new sort and search capability to allow scenarios such as filtering for an employer or location (example “South Lake Union”). Note – it’s recommended for administrators using the Community Trips Widget to review their web page hosting the widget and if required - regenerate the widget code and put the new code in their page.
4. The trip log calendar now “remembers” the fields chosen for the last entry for a particular mode. This feature implies for the vast majority of users, they will be able to log trips in their calendar with fewer clicks ([n + 2] clicks where n is the number of days).
5. The administration application now has ability to remove parent/child network association from a parent level and a child level.
6. Minor text changes. Language when requesting an incentive has been updated per feedback. Terms of Use language has been updated.
7. When using electronic fulfillment, some networks were using hyperlinks for redeem codes. These were not clickable before. With this update, redeem code hyperlinks are clickable.
8. Ride/Drive preference has been added to the Ridematch Trip Report.
9. Updates have been made to My Inbox in response to user and network administrator feedback.
10. In the administration application, when an administrator pulls up an account - the screen name is now included in the view.
11. Other miscellaneous usability and performance enhancements.
We've pushed out the update that enables API integration for the SmartRideshare platform along with some enhancements (in response to user and administrator feedback). Below are the highlights of this update.

I had an inquiry about the calendar yesterday.
"Have you heard any reports about the Calendar page on the RIDE SHARE website? I've been posting my trips daily and this is the 3rd day in a row that I can't post anything on the Calendar. I can open the page and select a mode but it won’t post to the date."
Does anyone know anything about this or if it has been addressed since yesterday? What advise or remedy can I pass on to the RSO user?
Thank you.
Hi Julie -
Sorry your customer is experiencing problems! The platform update may have made some of the cached data in their browser out of date. Refreshing the browser cache should resolve the issue.
Here is a helpful walkthrough: http://www.wikihow.com/Force-Refresh-in-Your-Internet-Browser
If they are unable to refresh their browser cache manually, they can simply use another browser or give it a few days and it should resume working. The cache expires on its own within a week or two.
Thanks!
