Recent and planned system upgrades summary

iCarpool and project partners continue to invest in system upgrades. Comments and data from system users and administrators, including those submitted via the feedback log, influence these investments. In addition, organizations are conducting pilot projects to learn more about system features and influence future upgrades. Here's a summary of recent and upcoming upgrades.

Planned system upgrades

Search by origin or destination

Provide the ability to search and display matches on the basis of only the origin or only the destination of the trip.

Accessibility options

Provide the ability to specify accessibility options when creating and searching for a rideshare trip.

Trip Log Associations for TMA Network

Provide the ability for a TMA network to choose a date range during which trips logged are associated with the network.

Trip Log Report (by Days)

Provide a report with a list of users that have logged trips on a minimum number of days for the selected modes. Use the longest commute trip reported each day.

Live Or Work Filter Criteria

Provide capability to filter based on the user’s home or work address for the User Registration Report and Trip Log Reports. Feature is applicable only to networks that use a home address- or work address-based association.

Vanpool Data Collection Module

Enable user-friendly ways for vanpool drivers, bookkeepers and riders to record and report vanpool ridership on a per trip basis using a computer/Web or an Android app.  Populate users’ RideshareOnline calendars automatically. Support agency reporting requirements.
