In January, 2012, I attended the Transportation Research Board Conference in Washington D.C. along with Brian Lagerberg, Director of Public Transportation, Washington State Department of Transportation and Caleb Winter, Transportation Planner, Metro, Regional Transportation Options, Portland, Oregon. We gave a presentation at the pre-conference Bold Approaches to Ridesharing session. Our presentation had the long winded title of Interconnected Networks: Boosting Collaboration, Building a Large Ridematch Database, and Leveraging Limited Resources - New Tools - New Habits. Title aside, it provided a good overview of our tri-state collaborative efforts for the period of time from March 2010 (when the new iCarpool platform launched in the tri-state area) to December 2011. I have attached it to this posting in case folks are interested in reviewing.
