Northeast Oregon Public Transit and DLC particpating in Dump the Pump Day June 21st

The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is sponsoring the seventh annual National Dump The Pump Day on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Dump the Pump Day is dedicated to raising the awareness of the financial and environmental benefits of choosing a commute options other than driving alone. Nationally, Dump The Pump Day emphasizes that Public Transportation as a great travel choice.
To celebrate Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 21st 2012, Northeast Oregon Public Transit and Drive Less Connect will host Dump the Pump Flyers on their fixed routes. Patrons can also ride the La Grande Trolley Fare Free on June 21st! Public service announcements will be placed around the communities. Northeast Oregon Public Transit provides transit options for riders in Union, Baker and Wallowa Counties.
