People who link their RideshareOnline account to Facebook enable four features, which are intended to make the RideshareOnline experience more personable and to increase people's confidence and comfort sharing the ride with someone they don't yet know. The four features are:

1. They can log on to RideshareOnline using their Facebook credentials.

2. Their Facebook profile photo will be displayed in RideshareOnline, specifically on their logon homepage and in ridematch lists.

3. RideshareOnline ridematch lists will link to their public Facebook profile information.

4. They will be able to post ridematch requests to their Facebook wall.

Tip:

I recently tried to post a ridematch request to my Facebook wall and couldn't find the functionality in RideshareOnline. With some help from Emily at King County Metro (thanks, Emily!), I was able to solve the mystery. I just needed to unlink my account from Facebook then relink it. This reset was required due to Facebook updates that occurred after I linked the two accounts.

Yes, Stan, I had the same issue. I could not post my trip to Facebook.  After unlinking and relinking to FB, I was able to post it to my account just fine!
Great information. Should we post something about having to link and unlink for the User? Or do you think they will figure it out?
