I need a report of all the networks within the Portland Metro,Oregon region. Not finding it in the reports available through RSO/DLC,unless I am missing something.  How do I get this information?

Pamela,

Go to reports and print up the Child Network Report. it should be the last one on the page.

Here's an idea you could try - I just tested it and it worked for me.

1. Have someone with higher-level admin permissions (Global, State or County should work) proxy into Portland. To do this, they should hover over Networks in the main menu/blue bar and click on Child Networks. They can then Search for the network name Portland and network type City Jurisdictions. Search, find the Portland listing and click the Manage link located to the right. They should now be managing the Portland network. Confirm by looking for the network name above the main menu/blue bar.

2. Hover over Networks in the main menu/blue bar and click on Child Networks. They'll now see a list of all of the networks in Portland. There may be multiple pages to view. Using your computer controls, print screen each page.

Thanks all,

The child network report doesn't give me what I need, so I think I will have to do the print screen options after all.

Thanks again!

hmm. Perhaps Stan can explain the incongruity here.  Why would the child network report list all of the child networks? Because if it's not, that's a flaw.

I just ran the child network report for the state of Washington and it gave me a comprehensive list. What do you need that the child network report didn't provide?

I need to know if the New Users column includes just that - new users. Or is it comprehensive?  I assume that these are the most current users?

The new users column indicates the number of users registered to the network during the time period you select for the report. If you adjust the time period for the report - for example, choose a start date of January 2010 - you can get a comprehensive picture of the number of people in each network.

I tried that and didn't see much change, which is why I questioned it. I'm probably over thinking it, but I want to make sure that I have the true network numbers before I start considering which networks to delete.

Hi Pamela - not real sure what information you are looking for.  The report Stan refers to notes the # of those that Registered during the time period.  Those #'s may not be Active ie: worksite ACS, OR - has 1 Active and 1 Inactive for a total of 2.

Why are you considering deleting networks?  Majority of your child networks are worksites - why would you want to delete those?

We had  worksites and networks that were migrated over to DLC. Some of them have never been used.  We'd like to close them down if they have not shown activity on the past 3 or more months.

And no worries, I understand the report - Thanks.
