Two questions:

#1 Is there a way for the Vanpool Manager/Primary Driver/Primary Contact of the Vanpool Account to revise their own Vanpool Trip Details? I cannot find this function while in proxy mode into the customer's account in the new platform. The Vanpool Account holder seems to not have the ability to revise actual Vanpool details.  The only place I have found to revise Vanpool details is in the administration application area. This also includes the ability to select the Rider's Wanted function. I can only find it within the administration application. Are those tasks solely for the Vanpool Provider once the vanpool has been established? Please advise or direct me to the pertinent pages in the User's Manual.

#2 Is there a way to toggle between the RSO administration application and the vanpooler's account without having to re-enter Vanpool information in the Vanpool look up each time? This inability was noticed while performing ride matches for the customer and checking their trip information. Thank you!

Happy new year! Thanks for posting your questions. For a faster response, do consider also posting your question to the Metro support team via support@rideshareonline.com AND/OR posting your question through the new KB system.

1. The agency can choose whether to allow primary drivers to be able to modify the vanpool details for their vanpool self service.  You can look up more in the vanpool administration manual - see page 3 section "Allow driver to modify vanpool details". Agency administrators are always able to modify the vanpool details through the administration site - the configuration setting only affects what primary drivers can do in the system.
Link for the manual is here

2. There isn't a way to go back to the user or exact screen that was there. However, administrators have their own tricks that can in effect achieve what you need. I've posted a KB article that has one way to make this happen. See the article here. You can update the steps accordingly to change your exact scenario - for example, with a few tweaks, you can use similar steps to return back to the same vanpool.

Hope this helps.

Updated response on #2 considering the new features and improveements rolling out this month.

With the January, 2020 update - now the system takes you back to the user/vanpool primary driver account of the vanpool that you were managing. The Vanpool Id is also hyperlinked so you can click on it and navigate back to the vanpool. Here's a list of related changes that are upcoming.

  1. When a user account is pulled up - if the account is a vanpool account, the Vanpool ID is hyperlinked so that the admin can easily go to that vanpool.
  2. After proxy accessing a user account via the user lookup function, the "Go back..." function takes the administrator to the same user lookup screen from where the proxy was launched.
  3. After  "Manage Vanpool Route" is completed, the "Go back..." function takes the administrator to the user lookup screen of the vanpool primary driver. The hyperlinked Vanpool ID may now be used to go back to the vanpool.
  4. After "Manage Pickup/Dropoff" is completed, the "Go back..." function takes the administrator to the user lookup screen of the vanpool primary driver. The hyperlinked Vanpool ID may now be used to go back to the vanpool.

Hope this helps.
