Is there a way to build an incentive so that it is it challenge based not luck based?

What I mean is, instead of the winner being one lucky person who tracked more then 10 miles during a week, the winner is whoever tracks the most miles during the week.

There is a challenge, a contest within the incentive itself.

Is there a way to do this automatically within the system, or would you have to manually check it?

Thank You,

Nick

Hi Nick,

I was considering doing a bike challenge using iCarpool a few months back and found that it is possible to set up a challenge-based incentive that is pretty easy to administer within the system.  Here are the steps I took in the test site to make this type of incentive work:

1)  Set up incentive and select qualifying days/trips/miles as “1” so you are qualifying all participants that logged during your incentive time frame.

  1. For our test, we used a “Time-limited” incentive type because it was going to be a one-time, month-long bike challenge.

2)  In the Manage Incentive screen, select “List of users that qualify” and then sort participants by trips/days/miles (whichever is your qualifier) and then “add” the person with the highest number of trips/days/miles to the incentive eligibility list.

3)  Back in the Manage Incentive screen, “Approve” the person you added to the incentive eligibility list to receive the selected reward (In our test it was a gift card to a local bike shop).

Hi Caryn,

Thank you very much, that is exactly what i was looking for.
