Per our conversation at yesterday's meeting, Production was updated last night. Highlights of the changes are listed below.  Please let support@rideshareonline.com know if you identify any issues as you review.

  • Improved matching that utilizes stops in addition to origin and destination of the route to produce better matches. Previously stops were used for vanpool matching if there were passengers assigned to the stops. With the new matching, the stops are used in the matching regardless of whether there are passengers assigned to the stops. The route match percentage has been removed from all screens.
  • Updated matchlist shows 10 matches per page.
  • Accessibility Options can be provisioned system wide. Once provisioned, the user is able to specify accessibility options when creating a trip.  This feature will be turned on in the production environment at date still to be determined.  More work with stakeholders needs to occur with our accessibility partners regarding configuration options.
  • Trip templates now utilize deferred network association. When a user logs trips using trip templates, the networks relevant to the user on the day of the trip are associated with the trip. This is an improvement over previous functionality in which the networks relevant to the user at the time of creating the trip template were associated with the trip requiring the user to recreate the trip template if a user joined a network after the trip template was created.
  • TMA networks are able to use a date range during which trips logged are associated with the TMA network. The date range is setup  and updated via support requests so please send a request to support@icarpool.com to provision this.
  • Updates in reports including:
    • Added a new report Trip Log Report (By Days) which allows the user to report on users and number of days of usage of selected modes. The longest trip in the day is considered as the mode for the trip.
    • Live/work filter criteria for networks that use home location / work location for association in multiple reports.
    • Added Latitude, Longitude to the User Ridematch Trips Report.
    • Added Language, Home City, Home Zip and Work City, Work Zip to the User Registration Report.
    • Existing reports now accessible from additional network types.
  • Additional information including Email and Comments are displayed in the screen that displays results for rules during incentive processing (View Problems Report).
  • Allow up to 6 email domains for network association for organization and university networks.

FIX:  Worksite name length was restricted to 40 characters in some screens. The update allows worksite name length of 100 characters.

FIX: Twitter integration encountered errors. With the fix, the errors no longer appear and Twitter integration works as expected.

FIX: My Vehicle page on the user side – the user was not able to add a new vehicle for the current year. With the fix, the user is able to add a new vehicle for the current year.

FIX:  If a user has 2 trips for an event and the event is cancelled – the user receives the cancellation twice. With the fix, the user receives the email only once.

FIX: If an incentive was taken back, the View Redeem Instructions link was shown in the incentive history page. With the fix, the link is not shown in the incentive history page.

I've been having a problem with the new Trip Log Report. I used to be able to pull over 2 years worth of data at a time, now I can barely pull 4 months with the Aggregate and CSV Export version of the report. Every time I try to pull more data I get a "Error: Number of records exceed allowed limit" message.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks

This is the same issue that Tarah Campi is having.  I've forwarded to iCarpool for review.  I've been able to pull the report plus plus the CSV file for OSU network.  What network are you trying and what are the dates?  I'll see what I get.  Thanks!

There was a system limit set at 10,000 records for the export. We have now updated the system limit to 100,000 records. Can you try the export again and see if it works now?

Just one note - if you have more than 100,000 trips recorded during that time, the report won't pull that as a CSV export.

It works! Thank you very much Amol.
